Myrrhe & Bois Brûlés
The warmth that remains when the fire has gone out
A chapel where the fire has just gone out. Arabian myrrh gives the body — resinous, sweet — lifted by notes of liquorice, star anise and apple, and a breath of incense. At the heart, this accord of burnt woods that signs the composition: the warmth that remains, the trace. Oakmoss and smoked leather hold the note, long after.

Myrrh — sacred resin harvested by incision on Commiphora trees in the Arabian peninsula. A goldsmith's matter: resinous, balsamic and lightly sweet at once. It gives the perfume its spine and its depth of time — the ingredient that does not fade.

Inspiration
The desert at the hour when the sand still holds the warmth of the day. Myrrhe & Bois Brûlés draws from an Arabian memory — the resin that bleeds beneath the bark, the warm ash of a bivouac fire, the breath falling silent. It is the scent of an ancient matter, carried across three thousand years: the myrrh gathered along the incense route, burned for kings, laid upon skin, kept in coffers. A perfumery of the trace — where what has gone out continues to warm.
